Ring Sizing Information

How to Determine Your Ring Size

Buying a ring without being able to try it on first might seem a little difficult, but it really isn't! We have three suggestions for sizing. If you try all three and you still aren't sure of the best ring size, then we recommend that you go with the smaller of your estimates. It is easy to make a ring slightly larger by stretching the metal in the band slightly, but it is more difficult to down-size. So try these suggestions, and if in doubt, order the smaller size!

Your ring warranty includes free re-sizing, but it would be disappointing not to be able to wear it when it arrives, so we suggest that you try one of the methods below to get the most accurate sizing possible!

1. Use the sizing of a ring you already have.
2. Call 877-466-2563 and ask us to send you a ring sizer (photo below).

3. Use the instructions below to measure your finger and determine the ring size:

  • Choose the finger you will wear the ring on. (Traditional etiquette suggests that this is the right hand ring finger).
  • Cut a strip of paper about 5" long and 1/4" to 1/2" wide. A heavy paper such as an index card or manila folder works best.
  • Wrap the paper around your finger.
  • Mark the end of the paper where it meets to form a circle.
  • Use a ruler to measure the distance from the end of the strip to the mark.
  • Repeat this process to measure your knuckle, since you want the ring to be large enough to slide over the knuckle.
  • Use the chart below to find your size:

Keep in mind that your fingers are smaller than normal first thing in the morning, and also when your hands are cold. Don't take your measurement during these times.
