1.Ink Color:

2. Lettering Style:

3. Optional Proof:
We can e-mail you a black and white .pdf proof after your announcement is typeset, however, it will add at least three days to the time it takes to fill your order. The proof takes three days, and then once we have your approval, the printing requires another two to three days. The proof is simply a way to view the final layout of the text in the letterstyle you've chosen. This is normally NOT necessary unless you are unsure about the lettering style or details of the layout. We "proofread" your text (and let you know if we have questions) regardless of whether or not you elect to view a final typeset "proof."

There is maximum of 15 lines and 35 characters and spaces per line.You may write your own text or see our page of verse suggestions. Skipped lines:
If you would like to leave a blank line between two sections of your text, you must write "skipped line" in that space. We strongly suggest that you not use more than one skipped line within your text. A single skipped line is enough to separate sections of text. If your verse is short, don't add extra skipped lines; we will increase the spacing between lines so it looks good on the page.

Corner Copy:
Corner copy is a line of smaller text set off to the lower left corner of the announcements. Use corner copy if you need a line that reads "Reception following" or "R.s.v.p. by...." Corner copy adds $4.00 to the cost. If you wish to use corner copy, use the last line at left to write your corner copy, and then check the box in the next section below that says "Optional corner copy." Corner copy should not be more than 25 characters. (Notice that if you use corner copy, there will be one less line available for the rest of the text.)

5b. Do you want the student's name to be typeset in a larger size?
You may elect to have us use larger print for the student's name. This looks nicest when the student's name is in the top half or in the center of the verse. (If you've selected a combination lettering style in section #3 above, the student's name will automatically be made larger.)

5c. Changes to the text:

After working with thousands of customer's announcement texts, we have definite opinions about what looks best. Our customers accept 98% of our suggested changes, and we've never heard from anyone who wished they had not accepted our suggestions. To expedite your order, do we have your permission to make MINOR changes to the text without contacting you? Minor changes include:

  • Punctuation that does not change the meaning (punctuation is not normally used at the end of lines)
  • Capitalization to coincide with accepted use on social announcements
  • Moving a word from one line to another to improve the appearance or reading of the text.
  • Writing out abbreviated words -- "Street" instead of "St.," or "Tennessee" instead of TN.
  • Adding periods between the letters of acronyms for legibility if a script style lettering is chosen.

We will never change the spelling of names or places, we do not attempt to verify any addresses you've provided, and we will not rewrite your text. If we have suggestions beyond the minor ones listed above, we will contact you, so it is very important to give us accurate contact information when you go through the shopping cart, and then check your e-mail and voice mail. If we have questions about your text, we'll let you know, normally in the evening of the day you order.

Do we have permission to make changes to your text without contacting you?

Any special instructions? Use this box to point out unusual spellings, to let us know of any special characters, or to give any special instructions. Keep in mind, though, that if you use this box to ask a question, your order will be delayed while we contact you!

6. Optional Corner Copy:

7. Lined Envelope Option

The White Budget announcements come with white inner and outer unlined envelopes.  You may choose to substitute single, lined envelopes instead. The cost is  $4.25 per package of 25.

8. Optional Return Address on Back of Outer Envelope

FREE! Choose one of our new designs for the envelope when you order return address printing. See this page for more information. If using a design, the address is printed on one line beneath the design and there is no room for a name on the envelope.

If using a design, only the address is used (no name) and the state is abbreviated.
If NOT using a design you may also include a name if desired, although it is more formal to use just the address.
This announcement comes with bright white outer and inner envelopes. If selected, the return address is on the back flap of the outer envelope.

The second line will match the typestyle and typesize of the first line UNLESS it is an e-mail address. All e-mail addresses are printed in a very plain font that will not match the student's name.

 

10. Optional RUSH on Announcements
(Production Time)

Orders that are placed** between midnight and 5 p.m. on any day of the week will go to press the following business day. A normal order would then be shipped two business days later. Adding a RUSH to the order costs $15.00 and means that it is shipped the day after it goes to press. It saves you one day in the production time.
