4	Ready? When you have found a combination of paper and design that you like, *begin your order by starting with your choice of paper* from the samples below. (Prices are determined by the paper you choose.) From there, the order form will allow you to select the design and ink color for your card, as well as the text for the inside.

Bright White Vellum Paper:

#1. This delicate Bright White Vellum paper is perfect with lighter ink colors. It is especially nice with violet, thistle, sage, or silver ink. The ink color you choose will be used for the inside text as well as for the cover design of your choice.(13 designs are available for the front of the card; see them at the bottom of this page.) Black Linen Paper:
choose any design
for the front.

#2. Black Linen paper has a slightly textured surface -- it has a "woven" finish that looks like linen. Black seems to get more and more popular every year! This sample is shown with a new design, # GAF08, although any of the 13 designs shown below may be used for the front of the announcement. If you choose this paper, the outer and inner envelopes will be bright white, and either silver or gold ink may be used for the printing. (Silver and gold ink are flat, not raised, on black paper.) Bright White Paper
with Silver Deckled Edge:

#3. The Silver Deckle-Edged paper is a fresh, bright white vellum with the silver deckle along the bottom edge of the card (or the right edge when used with one of the vertical designs). This silver and white card was one of the most popular of all the Classic announcements last year. The inner and outer envelopes both have the same silver edging along the square back flap. This design, GF08, is shown here in black ink, but is also very nice in bordeaux, hunter, navy,or the pastel colors like sage or lilac. #4. White vellum with a red deckle edge is an attention-getter! The paper is perfect with the "claret" ink, as shown here, featuring elegant design GAH08. As with all Classic announcements, the ink color you choose will be used for the announcement text as well as for the front design. Ecru Vellum Paper

#5. The rich, warm undertone of the Ecru Vellum paper is perfect with the "Berry" ink as shown here. The ecru is not as "yellow" as an ivory paper, but is a rich, off-white color that shows off the deeper ink colors nicely. Also popular with bordeaux, hunter, navy, and violet ink. Grey Parchment Paper
with Deckled Edge

#6. The Grey Parchment announcement and matching envelopes both have a deckle edge. This simple "Seniors" design has been one of our most popular over the past few years, and is shown here with violet ink. Silver envelope seals will dress it up no matter what ink color you choose! This grey parchment is one of the few papers that are available with a lined inner envelope.The liner is offered in bordeaux and matches the bordeaux ink. #7. This popular Antique Parchment paper features a deckle edge and matching, deckle-edged envelopes. Shown here with design GQ08 in Claret ink, though any of the 13 Classic Designs pictured at the bottom of this page may be used. Bordeaux, berry, navy, and raised gold ink are also very popular on this paper. A lovely matte gold liner is available for the parchment inner envelopes, which is a nice touch with any ink color, but especially when the card is printed with the raised gold ink. Recycled Grey Paper

#8 "Recycled Grey" is a very soft-looking, sophisticated paper, a flecked grey stock with a hint of blue, which shows off black or blue inks nicely. The double envelopes are made of matching paper. If you want to use black ink to hold down the cost of your order, the recycled paper is a nice choice because the paper adds texture and interest. We recommend silver accents with this paper. The ink color you select is used for the inside text as well as the design on the outside. This is shown with "cobalt" ink and design GR08. Soft White Vellum
with Deckled Edge

#9 This soft white vellum paper, with its deckled edge, adds a touch of elegance to any design you choose. Not a bright white like #1, 3 and 4, but not as dark as ecru, this is more of a "cream" color. Great with darker inks, especially claret, bordeaux, violet, and the hunter green shown here. Raised gold ink is also a very nice choice on this paper. Select from any of 13 Classic Designs below! The soft white paper is shown here with design GH08, which has a "seniors" crest. Comes with matching inner and outer soft white envelopes, which also have the deckled edge.

NEW FOR 2008 - Classic Shimmer!

The four new Classic designs in the section below are slightly different from those above.

These are not French-folded cards like those above. The Classic designs below (10 - 13) are printed on an un-folded piece of very heavy card stock which has an iridescent finish and rounded corners. The back is blank; printing is done in thermography (raised ink) on the front only.
The designs for these four cards are limited and are slightly different from those shown below for Classic designs 1 through 19. Instead of 13 designs, there are only 6. View them at the bottom of the page.
The designs are printed in the location as shown on the card; several have room for either a mascot or a senior photo seal, which complement the design. The Senior Photo stickers are sold on this page. They are $21.90 for the first 20 and $8.00 for each additional sheet of 20.
Because the design and text share the front of the card, the number of lines of text is limited to either 10 or 12 lines, depending on the design chosen. The information about each design gives specific instructions about the number of lines offered.
All of these Classic Shimmer cards come with white inner and outer envelopes. The inner envelopes are offered with an optional liner in black, gold, and silver. The envelope liners add $5.00 per package of 25. They are offered on the order forms.

Hydrangea Shimmer Card

#10 Hydrangea Shimmer This is a lovely color for a female graduate, and perfect with black ink. The color is a "purplish" pink, close to a lilac shade. The ink color must be a dark color to show up on this paper; we recommend black; our order form also offers navy and violet. Choose from the six designs offered for the "Shimmer Collection," below. The "seniors" design shown here, GAP08, does not have a year on it. It is designed to be used with a photo sticker, sold separately. This design, used with the photo sticker, can effectively be used by groups holding a graduation -- the sticker takes the place of the name card to personalize an announcement that is the same for everyone in the group!

Golden Shimmer Card

#11 Golden Shimmer The color of this card is a shimmery, golden taupe, shown with the Mocha ink. Black ink also works well. Shown with design GAK08, but you may choose from any of the 6 designs shown below . If this design is chosen, there is room above it for a photo sticker or mascot, and room below it for 10 lines of text. Price includes inner and outer white envelopes, and the gold lined inner envelope is a nice addition!. If you choose to print your return address on the outer envelopes, the design shown here may be included on the envelope for free, and it is also offered on our printed napkins!

Scarlet Shimmer Card

#12 Scarlet Shimmer The color of this card is difficult to describe, but it is beautiful! Not a bright, "fire engine" red, this is more like a deep cherry color. The raised black ink offers the best contrast. Select one of the 6 designs shown below. The design shown here, GAN08, does not have room for a photo sticker or mascot, but for a coordinating look, the same design is offered for your outer envelopes. If you choose to print the return address on the back flap of the white outer envelope, this design may be printed above the address at no additional charge.

Platinum Shimmer Card

#13 Platinum Shimmer "Iridescent Silver-grey" would be another way to describe this card. Choose any of the six designs shown in the "Shimmer design collection" below. This is shown with navy ink and design GAL08. If this design is chosen, it may be printed in the location shown, with room for either a mascot or a photo sticker above it and ten lines of text below it, or it may be moved to the top of the card so there is room for 12 lines of text below it. Sold with outer and inner white envelopes. The inner envelopes may be lined with silver, which matches the color of this card.
