Deluxe Announcements for 2008

- The
designs in this category are the most luxurious,
because they contain areas of foil, embossing, or
both. All have slots for name cards.
- Raised
ink (thermography) is used for the printing on
the entire announcement, except for those printed
on black or red paper.
- A
Bible
verse, motto,
or mascot
may be used on the inside page opposite the text
for an additional charge of $8.00
- Designs
#11 and #13 are printed on heavy card stock. The
others are printed on quality paper which is French-folded,
as are the classic announcements. All are shipped
flat and scored for folding.

Deluxe Announcements, Section One
The items within this first section, Deluxe
announcements # 1 - 6, have design elements which are
customizable. None of the foil areas of the
design may be changed, but some elements of the printed area
(the style of the year
line, and the crest or mascot for the front)
may be selected according to your tastes. All of the announcements
in this first section are the same price, and all are the
same fold style: they are all a "French-folded"
tri-fold design, which means they are folded in half along
the scored line, and then folded twice more to create one
larger and one smaller panel. The larger panel overlaps
the smaller along the foil line. |

This elegant white
and gold design has a wide gold stripe at the line
where the card opens. It has "soft gold"
foil, which gives it an understated richness. This design
is very nice with the black ink as shown (a less expensive
option), or you can use one of the other dark colors like
navy, hunter, violet, or claret. You may choose the eagle
shown here, or one of the other mascots or crests we offer.

Gold on Black Linen... We're pleased to be able to
offer this popular design again for 2008. The gold foil
used for the embossed "Class of" and the vertical
year-line stripe is a soft gold foil, rather than a shiny
one. It is so striking against the black linen paper!
You may select either gold or silver ink for the printing,
which is used for the crest or mascot of your choice on
the front, for the year line of your choice along the

This combination of soft white paper
and silver foil is very contemporary,
shown here with navy ink. The "seniors" crest
design that fills the "O" has the traditional
symbols in the four quadrants -- music, science, athletics,
and the letters. One of the other crests or the eagle
or other mascot may be used instead. This photo shows
the card slightly opened along the horizontal silver foil
line. Use one of the year line options as shown, or have
us print your school name or student name at the bottom.

This has been a very popular
design. The combination
of grey parchment paper and silver foil is great with
navy ink. Wine ink is also a nice choice, especially since
the grey parchment envelopes are available with a wine
liner. The eagle mascot shown here may be used, or one
of the crest designs may be substituted. To personalize
this completely, you may substitute your own school name
or homeschool group name in place of the year line!

The silver foil emblem on
this bright white card says
"Senior" and not "Seniors"... perfect
for a class of one! You can have us print either your
school name or student name at the bottom of this card,
and select the lettering style, too. The ink color you
choose is used to print the crest or mascot of your choice,
the school name, and the "Class of 2008" section
within the silver foil. The horizontal silver foil stripe
is textured with a repeating "grad cap" design.
This is shown in navy ink, but is also very nice with
hunter or violet ink.

This red and gold card
is identical to the popular black and gold one shown as
"Deluxe #2" above. The "Class of"
and the vertical strip are both gold foil. The front crest
or mascot, as well as the year line and text, are printed
in flat gold ink. This is a tri-fold design, with
room for a quotation on the left inside panel. The inner
and outer envelopes and the optional name cards for this
card are all bright white.

Deluxe Announcements, Section Two
The following deluxe announcements, # 7- 14,
are some of the nicest cards we have. There are some new designs
here, as well as some that have been popular for several years.
All of the announcements in this section have two foil colors,
compared to those announcements in the first section, which
have only one color of foil per card. The majority of these
are printed on quality paper which must be folded in half
and then folded twice again. If you are timid about folding,
selections #11 and #13 are printed on heavy card stock and
need only two simple folds.

7. The
use of silver and gold foil together has been growing
in popularity the past few years, and now we have an
announcement design that fills that need! This is a
black linen tri-fold design, but instead of just gold
foil (as in #2 above) this has silver for the wording
and both gold and silver foil in the front crest. You
may choose either flat silver or flat gold ink; the
color you choose will be used for the yearline as shown
and for your text inside. Trifold announcement comes
with inner and outer white envelopes and is shipped
flat, scored for folding. |

8. Green
and gold is a classic color combination, and
this design on smooth white vellum brings out the best
of both. The green foil is a fairly bright green, and
either the gold ink or the hunter green ink can be used.
"Hunter" is not as bright a color as the foil.
Black ink also looks very nice on this card. Like the
one above, the crest is embossed in both foil colors,
and this is a tri-fold style with slots for the name
card in the lower left inside panel. Shipped flat and
scored for folding. Double white envelopes are included.

Embossed red foil on the
black linen paper makes this
announcement glow! The crest is silver and red
foil, and the flat silver ink used for the inside text
is also used to print the vertical "2008"
year-line on the right flap. This announcement
is French folded, with the opening along the vertical
red foil line. The name card slits are on the bottom
of the left hand panel when the card is opened, and
your optional verse or motto occupies the area above
the name card.

Maroon and Gold is a popular and traditional
combination, and this is an elegant design that uses
both of these colors in foil against a smooth white
vellum paper. In this photo, the vertical foil stripe
where the card opens is in shadow, so colors are not
portrayed accurately.The vertical stripe is made up
of a wide maroon foil line and a narrower stripe of
gold. The crest is also maroon and gold foil, and the
year line is printed in the ink color of your choice.
The soft gold foil "Class of" has a
slight airbrushing behind it that accentuates the embossing.
Name card slots are on the lower section of the inside
left panel.

This "Silver, Blue
and Black" design has consistently been one
of our most popular deluxe cards. It is stunning: the
light grey airbrushing makes the silver and blue foil
letters pop out against the black linen. The horizontal
strip which accents the point where the card opens matches
the deep blue foil of the letters. Printing on
this announcement is available only in flat silver ink,
which is perfect with the silver foil on the front. The
black linen is a single, heavy card stock, not a French-folded
paper. The upper inside panel holds the name card, with
room above for an optional mascot, verse, or motto.

Silver on white with purple foil accents
-- a clean, celebratory look that is great for male
or female grads! The crest has both purple and silver
foil, and the vertical stripe along the edge where the
card opens is a bright purple foil. Purple is an especially
difficult color to picture on a computer monitor, but
this is a "royal" purple, solidly between
red and blue. The new "Violet" ink is a very
good choice for ink, as is the raised silver ink shown
here. The ink color chosen is used for the year-line,
as well as the inside text. Name card slots are at the
bottom of the left inside panel.

#13. Navy
and gold with foil and embossing on a heavy
card stock make this a very special card. The back
of the card is navy, and it is the back
that forms the left side of the card as you see it
here. The white front of the card has embossed, pearl
leaves, gold foil cap and scroll, and a cut edge that
contrasts with the back of the card when folded shut.
When opened, this is a three-panel wide design with
a gold foil strip on the far right side (visible on
the front when it is shut). A pair of beautiful embossed
leaves on the center panel hold your navy or white
name card, and the far right panel contains your text
printed in raised ink. Choose navy, gold, or black
ink for this design. The ink color and lettering style
you select will also be used to print "The Graduating
Class of 2008" on the front of the card. Click

card features a combination of gold and silver foil
like #7 above, but this one uses RED paper rather
than black. It is shown here with silver ink for the
year line, but you may choose black, gold or silver
ink, which will be used for the text inside and for
the year line. If you would like to place a name card
in this announcement, the order form offers a black
name card with a foil border. Choose the foil and
ink on the name card to match the ink color you select
for the card! Inner and outer envelopes are white.
A red foil seal on the white envelope is the perfect
finishiing touch!
