Lettering Styles for Announcements
from the Social Division
We
offer over twenty popular styles to
choose from.
These
samples are scaled the same, so the
relative sizing is quite accurate.
Notice
that some fonts (like ENG and SPL)
are very broad. Others,
like CPP and SQU are quite condensed.
Your card will look best if the scale
of the font is in keeping with the
amount of text. For example, if you've
just barely fit your verse on the
order form, using all available spaces
and lines, using ENG or SPL would
result in a layout that looks crowded.
We recommend the LCR over the ENG
font if your text using all the available
lines on your card or all of the available
spaces on a line. We will contact
you if we feel that your letterstyle
choice will not look good with the
text you've given us.
What
is most popular? Sometimes
people want to know. The answer
is that SRH, CHA, ad GOT lead the
popularity contest, with AMZ and MOP
as close seconds.
Combining
Styles:
There is no charge to use a combination
of two lettering styles on an announcement,
however this option is offered only
on Classic, Budget, Deluxe and Photo
announcements. This may be done by
using one style for the text and a
second style for the student name.
