Photo Announcements
If
you are having a Senior Photo taken, the photo itself
can become the announcement with one of the designs
from this section. They are very popular, and not as
expensive as you might think, especially when compared
to the cost of sending a separate card and a photo,
as many people do.

Photo
announcements are printed on heavy, glossy, card stock.

Photos
may be sent to us digitally or through the mail. If
you send your photo by mail, DO NOT send an irreplaceable
original photo. We will make every effort to return
them, but we cannot guarantee the mail service. |

Every
Photo Announcement includes a black and white .pdf proof
of the announcement before it is printed. This allows
you to see the layout, cropping, and typesetting before
printing, and to make changes if needed. |

It
is best to discuss the use of the photo with the photographer
before having a professional photo taken. We must have
a release from you in order to use any photo. If it
is one you have taken yourself, you sign it. If it is
taken by someone else, professional or not, they must
sign it. This lets us know that you have permission
to use the photo. |

Photo
announcements take longer to produce than the rest of
the items on our site, and the proofing process usually
adds at least a couple of days as well. We suggest that
you order photo announcements 3 weeks before you want
to mail them if you have digital artwork to send us,
and 4 weeks if you will be physically mailing a photo
to us. |

Announcements
are not submitted for printing until we have e-mailed
you with any questions or suggestions about your text.

1.
These
new photo announcements, with their optional wraps,
or "pockets," are so much fun and very impressive,
too! This is a large, flat (un-folded) card with the
photo on the front in full color (2 1/4" square),
and the text beside it in white lettering on gold background.
The back of the card is blank. The navy outer wrap is
a "pocket" made of heavy card stock, which
is open on both long edges. The card is inserted so
that the photo and the "Class of 2008" line
at the bottom show through the cutouts in the wrap.
The
new "Photo Thank You Notes" are sold separately,
as are the name cards.
Our
price includes a black and white .pdf proof which is
e-mailed to you for approval before printing. It allows
you to see the layout of the photo and the text.

2.
This
is the same card design as #1 above, but in a vertical
format, and the wrap is plum instead of navy. This card
has a solid cream colored background and a deep red
frame around the photo, which measures 2 1/4" square.
The card itself, with a solid cream background, measures
5 1/8" x 7 1/8." Either card may be ordered
without the wrap if desired. The cards are printed only
on the front, and are available only in the colors and
layouts as shown.
All
photo announcements come with single white envelopes,
which may be printed with the return address in black
ink, or in an ink color that coordinates with the card.
The
new "Senior Photo Seals" (sold separately)
are a great addition to any announcement or thank you
note!

3.
This
black "crossover" wrap reveals just enough
of the card to be intriguing! The card has your photo
printed on the right side, with the "polka dot"
design in blue forming a frame for it. The text is printed
in black, and fills the left side of the card. The card
is printed on a heavy, glossy stock, and may be purchased
with or without the black wrap.
The
card is 3 7/8" tall and 9" long, so it fits
some of the popular "panoramic" size frames.
Comes with single white envelopes which may be imprinted
with your return address in a matching letter style.

4.
Choose one of six exciting colors to accent this bright
white card. Shown here with the "Scarlet"
color option. The color of your choice is used for the
"Class of 2008" and for the nameplate area
beneath the photo. Choose from Ebony, Grass, Hydrangea,
Terra Cotta, Sapphire and Scarlet. The text is printed
in black.
The flat (un-folded) card slides into the optional
black wrap so that the student's photo is displayed
through the cut-out. This wrap, with it's subtle black
polka dot design, covers the left half of the card,
and provides a frame and support for the right side.
The wrap does not fold in half.
The card measures 5 1/2" x 7 7/8".
Sold with single white envelopes which may be printed
with the return address in the color of your choice.

5.
Here is the finest of the photo announcements! Not
a flat card like the others, this is a large, folded
card, printed on the same heavy, glossy stock as the
others. It has the full-color photo and the '08 design
on the front and black text inside.
As with #4 above, you may choose one of six accent
colors. On this photo announcement, that accent color
is used for the design on the left half of the card,
which is sized to show through the cutout in the wrap.
Even without the wrap, this is a very nice card; see
the photo below for a view of the card without the wrap.
Together with the wrap, this is a very substantial
and elegant announcement -- picture it being displayed
on the mantels of your family and friends!

5.
This is a view of the photo announcement #5 without
the wrap. This is shown with the "Sapphire"
color option. Choose from Ebony, Terra Cotta, Scarlet,
Hydrangea, Grass and Sapphire.
The announcement is ordered "with" or "without"
the wrap using the same order button above.
