This small white
collar adds a nice "finishing
touch" to the gowns of female graduates.
If the male graduates are asked to wear
a white shirt and dark tie, you can be fairly
certain that there will be a uniform look.
But asking all the girls to wear a white
collar means that there will be as many
collar styles as there are girls. For a
uniform look, have the girls wear a blouse
without a collar and then attach these
decorative collars to their gowns.
The collar simply attaches
to the inside of the gown yoke with small
safety pins or with the adhesive strips
provided. You must apply it to the gown
yourself. It is does not have a facing of
it's own, but is simply a crescent-shaped
piece of fabric with bias-bound edging.
