This item is designed for a group of graduates. All cards must be identical except for the line containing the student name within the text. The design for the front of the card and any optional printing on the inside left panel must be the same for all of them, but each student's cards are printed with their own name within the text. The announcement quantities for each graduate must be ordered in multiples of ten. The price is calculated by using the quantity for the entire, combined order, and then adding $4 for each individual student's personalization.

Example: A class of 10 students decide on this card and they need a combined total of 500. The cost would be $484.60 from the chart below, plus $4 per student for personalization, a total of $524.60. This is $1.04 per card, less than half of what they would pay per card if they each ordered individually. Everyone's cards are the same on the inside, but each student receives cards with their own name on the front.

This item is designed for a group of graduates. All cards must be identical except for the line within the text that lists the student name. Production Time:

Production time on this item is 5 business days, not couting the day your order is placed. Production time DOES NOT include the shipping time.
A RUSH is normally offered for $15, which subtracts 2 days of production time. If we are not able to offer the rush, that option will be turned off so that you will not see it on the order form.
If you plan to place an order of 200 or more announcements in April and feel that you need a RUSH, we suggest that you contact us first to check availability.

What's Included:

Choose black or navy stock and gold or silver foil - a total of 4 color combinations.
This card is a very heavy, single weight card stock with one scored line. It must be folded once (in half) before inserting into the envelope.
Card is 4.5" x 6" when folded, and comes with white inner and outer envelopes.
Silver or Gold lined inner envelopes are available as an option - see the order form at the bottom of the page.

You may use one of our suggested texts for the inside printing, or use your own. This card has room for 15 lines of text, with 40 characters and spaces per line.
We assume that you will compose your text so that there is one line for the name of the graduate. Only the text on that line will change, so it is important to use a gender-neutral text.
There are no name card slots. Because the names are printed within the text, a name card is not necessary, but may be purchased as an option.
An area is available on the inside left panel for an additional Bible verse or Motto. There is an $8.00 charge to have this area of text printed.

Here's an Example of How This Item is Ordered:

There is one example listed above. Here is a second:
Let's say a group of 4 graduates will be ordering together. They must agree on the same paper color, foil color, design for the front, font style, and optional verse or motto for the left inside panel. They must write a text for the inside that will be the same for all of them except for the line with the student's name, which will be personalized on each card.
Each student must decide how many cards they want, in multiples of ten. Let's say that three of the students in the group each want 30 cards and one student wants to get 40.
The cost of the announcement is determined by the chart above; They are getting a total of 130, so the announcement cost is $151.97, PLUS $4 per graduate for the personalization, a total of $167.97. This means they will be paying $1.29 each for their announcements. This is about half the price of what they would pay if each one ordered individually.
(Note: our shopping cart does not allow for multiple payment methods on a single order, so the whole order must be placed and paid for by one person.)

Optional Proof:
We can e-mail you a black and white .pdf proof after your announcement is typeset, however, it will add 2-3 days to the time it takes to fill your order. The proof takes 2-3 days, and then once we have your approval, the printing requires another 5 days. The proof is simply a way to view the final layout of the text in the letterstyle you've chosen. This is normally NOT necessary unless you are unsure about the lettering style or details of the layout. We "proofread" your text (and let you know if we have questions) regardless of whether or not you elect to view a final typeset "proof."

Optional Bible Verse or Motto:
If you would like to add a Bible verse or motto to the inside left panel, select that option and then give the text on the lines below. The cost is $8.00 for up to 8 lines of text. If using a Bible verse or Motto shown on our site, you may just give the number (for example, "motto #191" or "Isaiah 40 NIV"). If using your own verse, you must type the entire verse below exactly as you want it to appear. 34 characters and spaces are allowed per line. If you are using a Bible verse, we will put the verse in quotation marks, and the reference will be placed on a separate line under the verse, set off to the right side.

How Many Different Student Names?:
Please let us know how many different students names will be on this order. Each student's name will be printed on the line within the text that you designate for the student name when you enter the text below. Please tell us how many TOTAL student names there will be. There is a $4 personalization charge for each name. That charge is added here.

Individual Student Names:

Provide the name of each graduate. This will be printed on the line within the text that you designate for the student name. Please use a separate line for each graduate's name, and give us the number of announcements for that student after their name, in parentheses. Example: "Jane Marie Smith (20)".

Main Announcement Text:

This design has room for 15 lines, and 40 characters and spaces per line.

Your text will be centered on the announcement, and the lines will be spread out so that they fill the space on the card appropriately.

If you would like to have a blank line within the text, put an "X" on the line that is to be left blank.

If your text has fewer lines than the number of text boxes provided, put an "X" in any boxes that you do not need.

Note: For the line that will be printed with each individual's student name, please write "(STUDENT NAME)" instead of giving us an actual name. The names will be taken from your list above. Only the line with the student's name may change; all other lines of text will remain the same. Please plan your text accordingly. (In other words, you should not have a gender listed in the text unless all students are the same gender.)

Optional corner copy:
Corner copy is a line of type set off to the left in a smaller type size. It is normally used to say "Reception following" or 'R.s.v.p. by____'. If you would like corner copy, you must PROVIDE the text for the corner copy on the last line above. Selecting corner copy means you have one less line available for the text. (Tip: Remember, an Open House, by definition, should not require an R.s.v.p.)

Changes to the Text:
After working with thousands of customer's announcement texts, we have definite opinions about what looks best. Our customers accept 98% of our suggested changes, and we've never heard from anyone who wished they had not accepted our suggestions. To expedite your order, do we have your permission to make MINOR changes to the text without contacting you? Minor changes include:

Punctuation that does not change the meaning (punctuation is not normally used at the end of lines)
Capitalization to coincide with accepted use on social announcements
Moving a word from one line to another to improve the appearance or reading of the text.
Writing out abbreviated words -- 'Street' instead of 'St.,' or 'Tennessee' instead of TN.
Removing zip code from the address information -- zip code is not normally included.
Adding periods between the letters of acronyms for legibility if a script style lettering is chosen.

We will never change the spelling of names or places, we do not attempt to verify any addresses you've provided, and we will not rewrite your text. If we have suggestions beyond the minor ones listed above, we will contact you, so it is very important to give us accurate contact information when you go through the shopping cart, and then check your e-mail and voice mail. If we have questions about your text, we'll let you know, normally in the evening of the day you order.Do we have your permission to make minor changes to the text?
