Our “Matte” Style Cap and Gown Sets
	Matte fabric gowns for graduation are gaining in popularity, partly because they look so good in a flash photo. These matte finish gowns are made of a heavy 100% woven polyester matte fabric which drapes nicely. They have an interfaced yoke into which the sleeves and body are gathered, and come with a very solid cap made from a stiff, non-corrugated board. The dark color matte gowns are very opaque. White gowns are made from a lighter fabric; we recommend wearing white beneath the gown. There is a pleat on each side of the zipper at the bottom to help these generously-cut gowns hang more closely to the body.   We also carry a gown with a traditional (shinier) finish.
