Production Time:

  • Please read about our service for more information about what we do when you submit an announcement order to us, and for tips to expedite your order.
  • Item leaves our office in 3 - 4 business days, not counting the day the order is placed.

What's Included:

  • Card is 4.5" x 6" when folded. This is a card stock weight with the text printed on the front.
  • This card is shipped flat, is scored, and must be folded in half along the score.
  • Inner and outer white envelopes are included..
  • You may use one of our suggested texts for the printing on the front, or use your own. This card has room for 14 lines of text, with 36 characters and spaces per line
  • Choose from our selection of lettering styles.

Please give the following information, exactly as you want it to appear: (For accuracy, we copy and paste from this information, so please be precise and do not use all capital letters!)


Select the lettering style from this page. The same style will be used for the front of the card and for the text inside.

Select black, navy or white paper. All colors come with white outer and inner envelopes.

Select foil color -- we offer silver and gold on the white paper. If you choose navy or black paper, you have three options. In addition to silver and gold, we also offer white foil.

We can e-mail you a black and white .pdf proof after your announcement is typeset, however, it will add three days to the time it takes to fill your order. The proof takes three days, and then once we have your approval, the printing requires another two to three days. The proof is simply a way to view the final layout of the text in the letterstyle you've chosen. This is normally NOT necessary unless you are unsure about the lettering style or details of the layout. We "proofread" your text (and let you know if we have questions) regardless of whether or not you elect to view a final typeset "proof."

You must put an "X" in any of the boxes below that you do not need. If you would like to have a blank line in the text, put an "X" on the line that is to be left blank.
 

Enlarging the Graduate's name:

We can use a larger font for the student's name if a line is skipped before and after that line. To do this, put an "X" on the lines before and after the name, and we will automatically set the student name in a larger font size.

If you decide to lay out the announcement this way, we suggest that you NOT use skipped lines elsewhere in the text.

Corner copy is a line of type set off to the left in a smaller type size. It is normally used to say "Reception following" or 'R.s.v.p. by____'. If you would like corner copy, you must PROVIDE the text for the corner copy on the last line above. Selecting corner copy means you have one less line available for the text. (Tip: Remember, an Open House, by definition, should not require an R.s.v.p.)

After working with thousands of customer's announcement texts, we have definite opinions about what looks best. Our customers accept 98% of our suggested changes, and we've never heard from anyone who wished they had not accepted our suggestions. To expedite your order, do we have your permission to make MINOR changes to the text without contacting you? Minor changes include:
  • Punctuation that does not change the meaning (punctuation is not normally used at the end of lines)
  • Capitalization to coincide with accepted use on social announcements
  • Moving a word from one line to another to improve the appearance or reading of the text.
  • Writing out abbreviated words -- 'Street' instead of 'St.,' or 'Tennessee' instead of TN.
  • Removing zip code from the address information -- zip code is not normally included.
  • Adding periods between the letters of acronyms for legibility if a script style lettering is chosen.

We will never change the spelling of names or places, we do not attempt to verify any addresses you've provided, and we will not rewrite your text. If we have suggestions beyond the minor ones listed above, we will contact you, so it is very important to give us accurate contact information when you go through the shopping cart, and then check your e-mail and voice mail. If we have questions about your text, we'll let you know, normally in the evening of the day you order.Do we have your permission to make minor changes to the text?
