How to Set Up a Group Diploma Order

We can set up a private ordering page for your group, featuring a discount coupon for the diplomas. (View this type of private ordering page.) Each family goes to that page, puts the coupon in their cart, orders whatever diploma and cover they would like, and pays us directly. Anything from the Homeschool Diploma.com web site may be added to their shopping cart along with the diploma, and there is no additional shipping cost on additional items. This means that the shipping cost shown above is a flat-rate shipping for each person's order, even if it contains accessories or announcements. (However, only the diploma receives the discount.) Everything is shipped in one box to the group leader, individually packaged. This is the preferred method -- simplest for you, for us, and for the families. If your group is charging a set fee for participation so that the payment for the diplomas will come from the group's treasury rather than from the families themselves, and you want to give every family the same amount toward their diploma order, the second ordering method is for you.

We can set up an ordering page as explained in #1 above, but with the group's contribution subtracted from what the families will pay. In other words, if the group is paying for the Standard Diploma, then the Standard Diploma will add to the shopping cart as "$0." Each family comes on line to give us their diploma information, and they pay us directly for anything over the amount the group is paying. If they want a Personalized Diploma instead, they pay the difference between the group's contribution and the Personalized Diploma. If they want to add options such as an honors seal or personalized cover, or purchase accessories, they pay us directly for those items. (In this type of ordering system, the upgrade and options are not discounted, however.) Everything is still individually packaged and shipped in one box to the group leader, and the shipping on accessories or announcements is free.

This option allows everyone to get exactly what they want in the way of a diploma, but the group still pays us the same amount toward each family's order.

If you don't want to do on-line ordering, and all the diplomas for your group will be very similar, this third option is for you. All diplomas will need to have the same text (all Standard, or all Personalized #1, for example) with the same graduation date, paper, (Bible verse, if applicable) and diploma cover.

The group will need to collect the following information from each family: Student name, School Name, City and State (optional) and choice of seal. Each diploma will be the same except for these items.The group leader gives this information to us electronically, either by e-mail or through our order form. Placing an order this way is a little more work for the group leaders, but if you have a situation where simplicity is paramount and members of the group can't or won't come on line to give us their own information, this ordering method works well.
