Our Policies:

1. Privacy Policy:

In plain language, our site uses "cookies" to enable our shopping cart to function. A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's hard drive containing information about the user.  The cookies are how the cart "knows" to display "your items" instead of those that another customer is putting in "their" cart at the same time. For this reason, you must have cookies enabled to add more than one item to the shopping cart. Our use of cookies is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information.

Your personal information (name, address, e-mail, telephone) collected through our secure shopping cart is used ONLY to fulfill the order, and contact you with questions regarding your order, and will never be sold, rented, or traded, or given to any other organization for any reason.

As a business, we take every precaution to protect our users' information. When users submit sensitive information via the web site, your information is protected to the best of our ability both online and off-line. We use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information on our site. In the office, only employees who need customer information in order to perform a specific task are granted access to our customers' personal information. We do not obtain your complete credit card number when you complete a transaction through our shopping cart, nor are we able to access that information ourselves.  It is not stored anywhere in any of our computers.  Call us or e-mail us at the contact information above if you have questions about your privacy.  We will respond within 72 hours and will take any steps necessary to alleviate your concerns. 

You have the opportunity to "opt-in" to our mailing list when you check out through our cart.  If you join our list, we may send you up to three e-mail transmissions per year with information about our specials or products, but we do not use this information for any other purpose, and your e-mail address is never sold, rented, traded, or given to any other organization for any reason. To unsubscribe from our mailing list after you have joined it, simply reply to the link at the bottom of any transmission you receive and ask us to remove your name from our list. We will remove your e-mail address within 14 days.

Our web server collects statistics on the visitors to our site, and this information is used by us to pinpoint any technical problems and to see how our visitors are finding our site,a nd how much traffic we are getting.  There is no personal information collected by our web server, Christian Web Host. Please be aware that we (Homeschool Diploma.com) are not responsible for the privacy practices of sites we may link to.  We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of each and every web site that collects personally identifiable information. The privacy statement on this page applies solely to information collected by this Web site.

2. Check Policy:

We do not accept personal checks. Our shopping cart allows you to mail a payment. Please use a money order for mail-in payments.

3. Return Policy:

Personalized items: No refunds are given on "made-to-order" personalized items such as
engraved medals or keys, diplomas, personalized diploma covers, announcements, name cards or personal stationery. We guarantee that such items will be produced according to the information provided to us on the order form. If we have made an error, we will gladly re-issue your order as soon as possible. However, we are not responsible for errors caused by incorrect information on the order form and will not provide a refund for this reason.

Other items:  Non-personalized items other than apparel may be returned to us in new condition within 30 days of the delivery date for a refund. Refunds do not include shipping charges, and will be issued in the same manner that payment was made. Replacements (not refunds) will be issued for items damaged during shipping. We reserve the right to charge a 15% restocking charge. Dated items purchased from our "close-out page" after June 15th of any given year are not returnable.

Cap and Gown sets: We do not give refunds on cap and gown sets, simply because there are people who will wear the item for a ceremony and then return it, if they are allowed to do so. If the wrong size is ordered, it can be returned to us within the specified time frame, and an exchange will be made for a different size or color. The customer has ten days from the date the package is delivered to send it to us. The items must be returned in the original packaging bag, with their labels, and in new condition. We ask that you call first before returning apparel to see if we have the correct size or color in stock for an exchange.

Problems with your order? If you receive your order and find that something is damaged or incorrect, please contact us immediately at 877-466-2563. We will correct it as soon as possible.

4. Cancellation Policy:

Personalized, made-to-order items such as engraved medals or keys, diplomas, personalized diploma covers, announcements, name cards or personal stationery may be cancelled within 12 hours of the time the order is placed, if credit card payment was provided on-line at the time of the order. If the payment is mailed, the order must be cancelled before the payment arrives at our office. Cancellation must be made by phone by speaking or leaving a voice message with our customer service department at 877-466-2563. After 12 hours have elapsed, no cancellation is possible on personalized items.

NOTE: We do not accept cancellations on "RUSH" orders for announcements or diplomas. Once placed and paid for, RUSH orders for personalized goods are final.

If an announcement order is cancelled before printing, but after we have entered the order and
spent time helping the customer with changes to the text, or have provided a proof, we may
