Personalization for Top Band:

Provide the personalization for the top band. You may use up to eight characters and spaces, and they will be engraved in the letter style shown. The student's first name is normally used, but you may give us any text as long as it will fit. Please do not use all capital letters.

Provide the personalization for the bottom band. You may use up to eight characters and spaces, and they will be engraved in the letter style shown. The initials of the school asd the year are normally used, but you may give us any text as long as it will fit. Please do not use all capital letters.

Finger Size:
Not sure of your finger size? We would be happy to mail you a plastic ring sizer... Just call and ask us! We also have a page about ring sizing that you may find helpful. Taking the time to be accurate with this step will mean you'll be happier when your ring arrives!

Metal:
The metal you select is the biggest factor in the pricing of your ring. The more precious metal your ring contains, the more costly it is.We have a page that explains the various metal options and their content. Be sure to read this page before making your decision.

Metal Finish:

The antiquing adds a dark finish to the engraved areas so that the letters show up better. Below is a sample of what the silver and gold rings look like on another ring in the Sole collection, shown with and without the antiquing. There is no price difference between the two finishes. On rings in the Sole Collection, we recommend the antique finish so that the year and name engraving will be more visible.

Stones, Upper Row:

For the top row of stones, you may select one of the 12 simulated birthstones or upgrade to the Black Onyx or Mother of Pearl specialty stones. The image below shows each of the 12 colors in the "Spectrum" facet. (The stones for this ring is offered only in the spectrum facet.) See this page for an overview of the stone colors and the cuts, and for information about the specialty stone options.

Stones, Lower Row:

Select the stone for the lower row. Choose one of the 12 simulated birthstones or upgrade to the Black Onyx or Mother of Pearl specialty stones. If you choose to upgrade both the upper and lower rows, you will receive a refund, since there is only one charge to upgrade all of the stones on this ring.

Engraving Inside Ring:
If you are ordering a ring size 6 or up, there is room for up to 12 characters and spaces for engraving on the inside. If your size is size 5.5 or smaller, there is only room for 8. You may select just your initials, your name, and either script or black font. See this page to view lettering style samples for script and block.
