I found this quote in a a fascinating book called The Nothing That Is; A Natural History of Zero by Richard Kaplan. This piece was a gift for my friend Sarah at the time she stopped homeschooling and began teaching mathematics in the public schools. |
| In recent years I have begun to experiment with layers of words -- wash upon mask upon wash --which provides a very textural effect. This is my interpretation of my husband's favorite Psalm, number 145. I am not happy with this as a finished piece, but I enjoy the overall effect despite a few very poorly formed letters. |
