What am I paying for?

Your transcript purchase provides you with unlimited, 24/7 access for One Student. It's a one-time fee, NOT a recurring subscription.

How should I format this?

• You can organize your student’s courses chronologically or by subject. Just type in the year/category box either the grade and years (e.g. "10th Grade (2023-24)") or subject (e.g. "Math") of your student’s study and categorize courses accordingly.
• Organizing by year is more common than organizing by subject, but neither is wrong.
• If you want to include a weighted GPA, select the "Weight" drop down and indicate the course as Regular, Honors or AP/IB. In the Academic Summary section of the order form select "Include Weighted GPA" and click "Edit Grading Scale and GPA Calculation" to indicate the exact weight you want to give advanced courses.

What do I enter here?

• This is your opportunity to indicate classes that were taken through a college or other online instructor. In the academic record, place asterisks or special characters at the end of the class name and qualify it here. For example, if your student took Spanish I through The Spanish Academy, list the class as “Spanish I*” and then type “*Indicates high school course taken through The Spanish Academy” here.
• You can also use this section to list anything else you think is relevant that is not listed elsewhere on the transcript.

We recommend including a 9th grade start date because it provides a distinct timeline for your student’s high school education. It is especially helpful if you are organizing courses by subject and your student took 3 years or more than 4 years to graduate.

What do I enter here?

Enter an anticipated graduation date if you do not know exactly when your student will graduate. Pick the date by which you believe they will have completed all their high school coursework. You can always update this date in our form as many times as desired after purchasing a transcript as you continue your student’s education.

What do I enter here?

• A transcript is an official document, so we recommend using the same name that would appear on your student’s official government ID.
• Including your student’s middle name helps prevent confusion with other students applying to the same institutions who might share the same first and last name.

• Your signature affirms the accuracy of the contents of this transcript and is an indication of validity to outside parties (colleges, employers, etc.). As the homeschool administrator, you are ultimately responsible for your student’s education.
• In the Signature Title box you can either enter your name typed out or a title of your choice (e.g. School Administrator, Mother, Father, etc.).
• Including more than one signature is a matter of preference. Whoever signs the transcript is attesting to the validity of the transcript and its contents.

The Common App is a centralized college admissions platform used by many universities. Including your student's Common App ID number on their transcript is not required and is merely  a matter of preference.

Need help naming your homeschool?

Here are a few quick suggestions:

• Use your family name: "Martin Family Academy"
• Include a nearby landmark: "Rocky Harbor Homeschool"
• Honor an influential person: "C.S. Lewis High School"
• DON'T use the name of your curriculum, support group, or local high school! Your homeschool is issuing the transcript, so your unique school name should be used.
